Red Cross Cathedral Service Liverpool 18th April 2026 |
|
A message from our Divisional Recorder |
|
| Dear Worthy Knights of West Lancashire, | |
| Please note that the Annual West Lancashire Church Service at Croston Parish Church has been cancelled for next year. | |
| This is because Grand Imperial Conclave have announced that the Order will be holding a Service next year at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral on Saturday, 18 April 2026. | |
| As you are aware It has been the tradition for many years that the Order holds a Cathedral Service every four or five years. However, the vagaries of time not helped by COVID 19 has meant that the last such occasion this Service was held was at Lincoln Cathedral some ten years ago in 2015. | |
| The Service will be followed by lunch at the Anfield Football Stadium which has previously hosted many successful Masonic events in the past. Car parking will be available at Anfield. | |
| Coaches will be available to take those attending the Service to the Cathedral, returning to Anfield afterwards. | |
| This will be a wonderful opportunity to meet with fellow members, friends, and family and to join in Christian and Masonic worship at such an iconic venue. | |
| Details of timings, hotels, transport, and costs will be circulated as soon as the information is available. In the meantime, please note the date and reserve the date in your diaries. | |
| As the Service is on our doorstep, we must ensure that it is well attended by West Lancashire Red Cross Masons. | |
| I thank you all and look forward to seeing you in Liverpool on the day. | |
Yours in Faith, Unity and Zeal |
|
| Geoff Jackson |
